Costa Blanca

Lying on the eastern coast, the White Coast is one of those resorts where everyone can find their place under the sun, from sophisticated towns where life goes on 25 hours a day to quaint little villages.

Arguably the most famous coast in Spain, which attracts millions of tourists each year. Within the mountainous interior are a series of fascinating medieval towns and fortified villages which have been largely unaffected by modernism and tourism. Inland from the beaches, Costa Blanca has one of Spain's most fertile areas. With a mix of traditional Spain, rural and agricultural areas, long established holiday resorts and residential zones, there is something here for everyone. On its very good coastal road You can travel all the way along the Costa Blanca.

Inland from the beaches, Costa Blanca has one of Spain's most fertile areas. The region is renowned for its citrus trees, oranges and lemon trees full of fruit by early March. The Costa Blanca is also well known for its mild climate, the sun is at its hottest during the summer months, with temperatures rarely falling below 30°C (86°F). Winters are typically very mild with average temperatures hovering around 18°C (64°F). January, February and March are usually the unsettled months of the year.

Alicante is the capital and major city with its airport situated on the fridges of the city, which is now undergoing an expansion programmed to cater for the ever increasing tourist trade to the region. Benidorm attracts the most visitors. Benidorm is an expansive holiday playground and tourist spot in every sense of the word. The place offers every amenity a tourist could want. With a safe, kindred atmosphere, safe waters and a host of activities to do, Benidorm is ideal for family vacations. It also has a lively nightlife, with hundreds of bars and clubs catering mainly for British tourists. There are many attractions alongside the Costa Blanca, many of them specifically for tourists like the entertainment park Terra Mitica in Benidorm. Elche Safari Park At Elche near Santa Pola. Also there are many Water Parks like Aquopolis WaterPark in Torrevieja and many wonderful Beaches and Bays all along the Costa Blanca.

There are many fantastic Golf Courses situated all over the Costa Blanca. The Costa Blanca is a real Golfers dream.

This part of Spain is famous for its salt lakes, this has a major knock on effect on humidity levels and as a result the air is much (more pleasant) dryer than in other parts of Spain and Europe. Owing to the areas low humidity levels and mild climate, the WHO (World Health Organisation) have rated this part of Spain as one of the healthiest climates on the planet
